Blend: 67% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting note: Seventh vintage classified as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, Château du Taillan 2025 stands out for its style, both classic and approachable. It is remarkable for its aromatic expression and freshness, placing it firmly in tune with contemporary tastes. At the same time, it retains a more traditional dimension, driven by full ripeness, silky tannins, and a long finish. A round, deep and powerful wine with a wide aromatic spectrum.

The vintage: A dry and mild winter and spring ensured excellent vine health. A warm and dry summer, punctuated by a few rainy episodes, led to balanced ripening, followed by ideal conditions for harvest. The grapes were picked from September 12 to 23 in successive passes to achieve optimal maturity. Precision work in the cellar included plot-by-plot vinification, gentle low-temperature extraction, precise blending, and careful management of press wines.

*The “en primeur early sale” is traditional in Bordeaux, it is made a few months after the last harvest and consists of reserving a vintage at its best price, which will be available after its bottling, 18 months later. Your wines will be available in September 2027.
