Experience the tasting visit
of your choice
Our team welcomes you every day: Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday by appointment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for the visit of your choice. These tours, guided by our wine-tourism hosts, will immerse you in the mythical and elegant world of a Bordeaux wine estate: historical monuments, secrets of a great wine’s conception, history of a family and its women, “Dame Blanche” legend, meeting with Bacchus, introduction to tasting and much more.

Taillan’s break summer version,
A moment to relax and farniente!
After exploring our underground cellars, treat yourself to a relaxing interlude in the shade of our park’s century-old-trees. Enjoy a selection of cheeses and breads, accompanied by a glass of red or rosé wine. If it’s not happiness, it’s something like it. €20 per person – €10 for under 16s – 30′ visit then unlimited break. Mölkky and balls at your disposal.

Classic
The “classic visit” first takes you to our cellars classified as “Monument Historique de France”, dating from the XVI century, to display wine aging process’s ancestral methods. Then, you discover the vat room, where you are entrusted with the secrets of wine-making techniques of red, white and rosé wine. You finish the visit in our “concept-store” boutique, where many surprises are exposed, but above all, where you taste two of our vintages.

“La Gourmande”
“La gourmande” tour is a visit of our historic and technical facilities, enhanced by a tasting of three of our wines (red, white, rosé). The “gourmand” plus? A slate of cold meats, cheeses and fresh breads. This “food and wine” pairing allows you to better discover our vintages and promises an even more convivial moment.

“Pas à Pas”
This tour takes you “step by step” from harvest to bottling, to an entertaining discovery of winemaking’s art. It all starts with a tasting of our white wine, in the ambiance of the vat room; then, you appreciate our red wine in its aging cellars, where oak barrels are housed. Finally, our rosé wine is served in our “concept-store” boutique. All this, with the expert explanations of our wine-tourism host and a slate of dried fruits and cheeses.

“Les clefs de la Cave”
The “Clefs de la Cave” gives you exclusive access to the private cellar of the owner family, where Château du Taillan old vintages are kept. You could perhaps find your birth year! This visit also proposes a tasting of three of our wines and these few sweets: cheeses, dried fruits, chocolates, for a nice moment.

“Les clefs du Château”
This visit is a magical moment, where you discover the private rooms of this family house, in which the five owners’ sisters spent their childhood. They invite you into the Château’s lobby and let you taste the serene atmosphere of its sumptuous lounges. You pass by the veranda to continue on the terrace and admire its panoramic view on the vineyard and finish in the historic cellars. At the end of this unique moment, a wine tasting is proposed.

“Verticale”
This visit is a journey through the years. After visiting our underground cellars, you have the privilege of tasting four vintages of Château du Taillan and thus observe the fabulous evolution of our great wines over the years. It is an art to appreciate the age of a wine and we are happy to share it with you. La Dame Blanche, the subtle and very fruity property’s white wine closes this beautiful tasting.

An adventure in the Médoc! Enjoy the Crus Bourgeois experience: a daring and tasty visit to the estate all summer long.
Learn about the history of the Crus Bourgeois du Médoc family and its unique character. Combining history, terroir and expertise, this unique experience will plunge you into the origins of the Crus Bourgeois: its classification, its wines, its men and women.
