Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel
The 2023 vintage is extremely refined, thanks to the tremendous efforts of our technical team in the face of unpredictable weather conditions. Precision work in the cellar, with our consultant oenologist Axel Marchal: plot-by-plot vatting, gentle extraction at low temperatures, precise blending, and careful handling of the press wines. Twelve months of ageing in barrels, with 30% new oak.

This vintage was also challenging as it was the first vintage following our second classification as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. We were first classified from the 2018 vintage to the 2022 vintage, and now we have been classified again from the 2023 vintage to the 2028 vintage. We are very proud!

Tasting notes
The colour is ruby red with purple highlights. The nose reveals notes of red and black fruits. The attack is smooth and elegant, the mid-palate is powerful and deep, and the finish offers a pleasant freshness.
