2023: the purest expression of our terroir

A climate that needed us to be very rigourous, but one that allows our terroir to express itself beautifully. As a result, the 2023s stand out for their typicity, their obvious aromas and the harmony of their structure, especially when the vinification is delicate (see the 2023 vintage by ISVV).

🍇 From spring onwards, the vines were subjected to rigorous weather conditions, with alternating rain and sunshine leading to high disease pressure.

🍇Harvesting began at the end of August due to the heatwave. A good-quality harvest: homogeneous, concentrated, with an attractive ruby-red color and silky tannins.

🍇Precision work in the winery, with our consultant oenologist Axal Marchal: plot-by-plot vatting, gentle extraction at low temperature, precise blending, work on press wines.

🍇Barrel filling in early January with 30% new barrels, mainly Seguin Moreau and Taransaud.
